The truth is nobody really gives a fuck about TLOU, Spooderman, GoW, Horizon or Ghost of Tsujima outside of Sony drones. Not one of those is a console seller. Vanillaware was the only dev adding value to Sony but it´s not actually a first party dev and has started to go multi-platform recently. They´ve even started releasing some titles on PC. The same is true for SE and other devs and publishers that used to work exclusively with them. In fact, VII revelations will release simultaneously across all platforms, meaning it´s not even a timed exclusive. The truth is that no, SONY is not back and between all the bad press SONY is getting lately over terms and conditions and all that and devs needing the boost of multi-platform releases publishers will be disinclined to go back to the previous arrangement. The only thing this does is MAYBE prevent their drones from ditching them. They probably figure that fans of those few games may be willing to endure their new policies for the sake of those IPs.
