That’s not the end of the world nor are you stupid for doing it, it just takes time and autism to know what synergizes.Your generator’s too small for your energy weapon primary, so I imagine you can’t stay in the air very long. Yoyr FCS is absolutely trash, it definitely needs to change. It’s good for missile lock but you’re sacrificing all your gun and sword accuracy. Your gun is best at medium or long range because it’s high damage low stagger, but you’re also using a sword. The sword, is on arms that reduce their damage and are better suited at range. Also as a new player, I’d say ditch the shield. Shields are great but I know I personally could never use them effectively in my first playthrough, and you’re better off maximizing damage and learning how to evade in the air. You need to pick a lane, basically. Do you want to be up close or ranged damage?

The good energy weapon generators are about to unlock for you as well.Generally you lack the offense to justify each weapon choice:- The melee LB would really like you to have a way to stagger the enemy (you don't), and good melee spec arms (there are some you have access to) and if you use its large radius to cause stagger instead, your alpha strike (charged plasma weapon) doesn't do enough damage due to its low direct hit multiplier.- Shields are okay if the rest of the build has heavy offense to sac the slot, but this doesn't, so you should consider a weapon that is either heavy-hitting or high in staggering here.- Plasma rifle regular shots move slowly so even with AoEs, the enemy is usually not there anymore, and the direct hit multiplier is poor for hitting staggered dudes with charge shots. If you like energy weapons, the laser pistol and laser shotgun available to you now will be easier to hit with in regular shots and also do higher direct hit damage with charge.The FCS is all focused on your very weak missiles, but I don't know which others you have available off the top of my head.
