When is "diversity" in video games considered forced?
When it hurts my feefees. I'm the superior race but I constantly need to be coddled and comforted.
I have no problem with blacks in vidya, they just need to be charismatic and likable.
When there's a bunch of diverse characters but they're all heroes and the villains are all straight white men.

>>746047657When I feel talked down to because of it, it's forced. When I see its point and agree with it, it's unforced.
>>746047657When a grifter eceleb tells me that it is, despite me never playing any of the games that they complain about.
>>746047657When it becomes obvious you wrote a minority character instead of just a character. You can't have the viewpoint that blacks are just like everyone else and then write a stereotypical nigger.
>>746047947I don't have a problem with unlikeable and disgustingly phobia-triggering black characters in my games. I just don't want the game to also lecture me about how I should feel bad for not sharing the writer's diatribe. A lot of "Bruce Wayne's rich white ass..." writing in modern games reeks of writer-insecurity, that they already suspect that the receiving end of their writing is going to seethe at whatever they'll read, and if your intention is to slap your audience in their face, then don't be so coy when we flip the bird right back in yours, or maybe be a confident writer and write something useful you dumb bastard.Pic not related btw. Jacob isn't guilty of forcing a diatribe on the player by an activist writer. But he is a NIGGER, and that's fucking funny to me, hahaha
