Is there any way to replicate the VR perspective without actually playing it in VR mode? I know there is some kind of camera fuckery that makes everything look way smaller than it actually is.

Parts of it definitely become a horror game in VR like Jellyshroom Cave, but you also get amazing moments like piloting the Cyclops and feeling the immensity of it. Or shitting yourself as you try to outrun a leviathan and watch it stalking you on the sonar.
