>>746058794caterpie because butterfree can contribute more to a playthrough with powder support. it also gets compound eyes in FRLG, so powder moves have 97.5% accuracy. also shield dust means caterpie can't be poisoned so it doesn't necessarily lose to weedle 1v1 but weedle has the benefit of STAB even though poison sting is so weak it barely matters. beedrill's ability is swarm which only works when you're on low HP which you don't want to be especially during a nuzlocke and only with bug-type moves which is a shit typing. despite having wings, beedrill doesn't have immunity to ground-type like butterfree does (even if that flying type comes with some weaknesses attached). I like both though.
