What happened to video game analysis? I remember this guy being able to explain first-person shooter design pretty eloquently, but his latest video is trash that barely says anything of substance. Everybody knows why Quake is good, everybody knows why Quake II and Daikatana are bad. He doesn't offer any insight of his own and just restates common knowledge. In fact, the majority of this video is him whining, as if he was forced to play these games against his will or something like that.It'd be one thing if it was any random fag, but I actually liked what this channel put out, even if it sometimes got incoherent or self-indulgent. He even admits one of his criticisms is nullified because the video took too long to make. As if anyone would give a shit.
I suspect it has something to do with the whole tf2 skins debacle.i think quite recently, his name popped up again because he was asked to defend his position on tf2 skins ruining the game and he just walked it all back and pretended there was no argument made in that video.Just from that insinuation, i already know he is a cuck who dont want to make anyone mad, hence why your statements about him just blathering on and not making a point nor insight. he probably just wanna talk about quake but dont want to rock the boat all that much

The presenter starts inventing in-group terminology or shorthand that only the audience would know and everything they say becomes gibberish. It's also a matter of making these videos as a job, eventually you have nothing that broaches novelty to say that hasn't already been said better and you're just writing words for the sake of word count rather than putting anything forward.
