It's such a coward's fantasy setting, the MC and love interest are generic boring humans because Square was too afraid to have a completely fantasy cast. The story was also fucking gay, squandering the potential to make an improved FF5-esque fused world. Instead it's basically DBZ where Vegeta goes Broly, fucking stupid.

I've never played any FF game but 7 8 9 10, and i am ashamed to admit to have played 12, 13, and 15.I do not care for the NES and SNES games.
6 is easily the worst>le 32 characters doodok but who gives a shit about any of them even Terra, Celes and Lockenone of them are interesting or have an arc

Not quite as good as the PS1 games, but not far behind. 4 is really short and fast paced, 5 has a slow start and whatever story but really fun gameplay once you get into it and 6 is basically just like 7 and 8 only in 2D. It's really good.
