Aren't you paying for the overpriced RoG branding here? Surely, you can find a similar spec prebuilt for much cheaper?

I miss 2005 4chan. No poors constantly crying, very few eurotards deflecting to 3rd worlders who still to this day don't have internet.

Gpu and ram put it at 900ish as it is if I were to throw a number out, and this is not counting the case, psu, cpu and storage, this is unironically an okay deal

Yeah, the prices have been pretty crazy this year, don't know why you're surprised. Did you just get internet for the first time yesterday or something? The fuck is the point of this thread

It's 2026, the actual thing to do is to buy a used office PC with at least an i7 from the past ten years and throw in a new psu and some chintzy gpu in there. Even the micros that get mounted behind the monitor can do this.

Consolefaggots don't seem to understand that a PC is more than just a gaming device. Do they not realize that beyond gaming, you can use your computer to:
>Browse the Internet
>Communication through email and social media
>Create content like art, Photoshop, video, etc.
>Use it for work and/or school related tasks
>Write
>Use it for entertainment

prebuilts got weirdly attractive in this market. A relative of mine got a 5070, 32gb of ddr5 ram, and an I7 for 2200 bucks you can hardly beat that yourself and it had a fancy AIO and everything.

Consoles really are for poorfag-mentality rentoids. It's almost identical to the philosophy of paying rent vs mortgage if you think about it.
A PC is like a down payment on a house - larger upfront cost for savings down the road, drastically improved freedom, and self-reliance. And like a house you own, you have to perform your own maintenance and troubleshooting on it instead of pestering your landlord over it like a big baby.
But because rentoids can't into saving money, they have no choice but to continuously pay rent, and likewise continuously pay for PS Plus, expensive games they don't own, etc.

I'm new to PC building and getting a high powered computer (Running Minecraft at 15-20 FPS for over a decade). Is it really that hard to play a AAA realism slop at 60 FPS with Medium settings and 1080p on this?
>>
>>746065968
good god, i was shopping for pcs last year and that same prebuilt would be $1400-1500~ then. 5070 tis were $1750-1800~. 5060 tis were $1100-1200.
>>
>>746065968

I was going to make a thread but this one is perfect for my question. Im lookin to get a pc for my almost 5 year old son to play mostly teardown mods and maybe some garrys mod stuff he sees on YouTube. I know he's a little young but people are turning their kids into ninja warriors and musicians at that age already so a head start on becoming a gamer loser can't do too much harm. My question is can you find a decent pre-built for $1500 still?
>>
>>746066574
No? DX12 Ultimate & Vulkan 1.4 shit the 1070 doesn't support

5 year old needs nothing stronger than a laptop the most important is you get one with at least 16gb of ram the 8-12gb ones don't even boot the unity slop games.

Almost all of those can be done on a cheapshit laptop or the most budget of budget PC's so stop kidding yourself, you're paying 10 times the price for the same fucking games. I'd say it's worth it for playing at higher resolutions/frame rate but it's not and most PC gamers have cheap shitty monitors too because that's the part they decide not to spend money on even though it should dictate your entire build.
>>
>>746066236
The only thing consoles had over PC was disc games because you could buy them cheap second hand, play them, beat them, then sell the disc second hand again to the next person who wants to play it. Second hand discs were always cheaper than any all digital "licenses"
But now consoles have shot that only foot they had to stand on so there is no reason at all not to switch to PC

Never do that unless you need to sign for it. If you're that concerned with it being stolen, have it shipped to your workplace or invest in a deposit box.

You can refinance if you messed up the first time around. I dunno what rates look like nowadays, but it wasn't that bad with good credit.
But yes, a larger down or paying entirely cash is usually better if you're a mega richfag.

It's more of the concept. The money literally doesn't exist.

It's like if I had $0 (since 2020 banks have a 0% reserve requirement) and I could press a button, magically put the numbers into your account, and then demand you pay me that amount back with interest.

I did literally nothing productive. You are a fucking cuck retard for paying creditors, no better than a renter paying a landleech. Both debt and rent are degenerate things that need to be completely abolished and should have never been legal to begin with.
>>
>>746065870

>>
>>746068658
Oh great, this midwit logic again.
And the "text" you're currently reading is also just a concept, just tiny LED lights shining in a pattern, the words don't actually exist. You typed that "post" on a made up "device" constructed using melted rocks and metal that sends tiny electrical signals to other pieces of melted rock and metal, the internet doesn't actually exist.

People are stupid and can't understand it.
I've spent years trying to explain that with PCs, upgrading components overtime is common and this amortizes costs over time. But, this is beyond a lot of people.
>>
These are all good deals, I might even buy one. I'm running on a fucking 1070. Buy this cheap shit and then upgrade to a good GPU later on.
>>
>>746069498
I will walk this back. A lot of people are impatient, and they tend to be the loudest. I've known sort of dumb people who figure these things out, it just takes time. The anger is from the children who don't want to bother to understand their hobby.

>paying $1600 for e-waste trash that is barely above the Xbox One and PS4 in terms of performance
It's always been like this by the way. If you go PC, you buy a 80/90 series card at bare minimum. Otherwise what's the point? You're no different from a console shitter casual faggot, your only advantage being piracy. Meanwhile your machine gets outdated on the first second after you finish building it, and console games will actually perform better because they were built with the specific console in mind. If you aren't poor or retarded and instead build a real gaming PC with high-end part, you have some peace of mind; your hardware can at the very least partially bruteforce software developer incompetence (UE5 stutters slop)
Pic rel is my experience with the best gaming PC money can buy. So imagine that with a midrange or god forbid a poorfag card.
Even for emulating or playing older games having good hardware is just much better. Don't listen to poorfags or worse the "it's overkill for your usage" retards

go on ebay and find an r5 3600, b550 board, 16gb ram (lol dont @ me about the price), and radeon 5700 non xt because that's pretty much what a PS5 is
here I did it for you
if you already have a PSU and case, boom wow there's your PS5 level gaming PC

You've only yourself to blame for choosing to have the highest game latency possible.
>>
>>746068965
I'll inquire about it if I don't get an update around noon tomorrow. I have bad luck with ebay sellers going aggro on me when I contact them.
>>
>>746064746
even a non asus taxxed prebuilt for half the price is still a ripp off with these components.
the price saving attempts of buy a prebuilt is over. Ever person wanting to get into pc gaying is going to be forced to play inflated prices to build a brazillian special just to have a pc that can play some modern games at 1080p.
>>
How do console stores even work nowadays? If you buy a new console do you still have all your games from your PS4 account?
>>
>>746064746
The long term benefit of not needing to pay a goy subscription to play my games online (despite already paying internet bill) already outweighs the initial cost of a PC
I understand though that consoleniggers lack the ability to actually think ahead and can only operate in the present

>house more than trippled in value
>profit
