Creates a final boss you can get to after doing any ending but this final boss is so bad were still waiting on a rework to fix him so many years later. The whole DLC was so bad there were community booster packs where players could submit items to add the missing content afterbirth + didnt deliver onFINALLY we get to repentance which is a mix of a popular isaac fan mod called ANTI BIRTH and Ed inviting the team to merge the mod into something different and official. Rep adds so so so much. if it was possible to only get rep people would do it. But you also have to put up with all the nerfs they added to the game because anti birth dev had an autism for hating runs that you could win with only 2 items. Ed doesnt give as much of a fuck except when it came to the music of anti birth where he cut it allAnyways all that DLC in total makes it that. You can enjoy the game with just rebirth and if you like it get the rest but in one big gulp

I've only really played the original, friend has rebirth and all the DLC in our family library so I've been playing it and the later game bosses are kind of obnoxious. Feels like I need to have like, a giga build to fight hush at a decent pace because of how much health it has. I've killed it once because I was lucky and had Mom's knife, so I just parked myself on it until it died but I can't imagine getting the boss down without loads of damage.

There's no meaningful change whether you go bang your head against the wall or whether you let it happen naturally. This is one thing that irks me with Isaac and Mewgenics discussion because anons are adamant each run needs to unlock something.

>>746073013Sure, you can go learn any boss you want but you don't need to rush to Hush and force yourself fight it if you recognize you don't pack the oompf needed for it. Hush, Boss Rush, Mega Satan, Delirium, Mother and The Beast are optional for reason. The game doesn't force you to go against them and the game expects you to know when it's viable and when it's not. Same with Devil/Angel rooms, you are expected to know when to go for Devil and when to save the angel chance
