Objectively very polished, but if you played them in the late 00s then I get the feeling that you still know how they generally work in the mid 20s.

Keep in mind I tend to weigh a game's strengths towards its positives and its replayability. 4 through BO2 was such a wonderful experience to live through.I don't even think any of them are 9/10 tier (except MAYBE blops 2) but it was just such a cultural joy to be a part of regardless of how old you were.The series has never quite made it back there fully but there have been PARTS of subsequent games that have accomplished that feeling:- Black Ops III's Zombie Chronicles and to some extent it's multiplayer- MW19's campaign and warzone

Call of Duty Moblie is unironically great and a fun time.Its just one game so you keep all your shit and you don't need to keep buying $70 titles and restarting. You can use controller, keyboard and touch screen. Controller and keyboard users fight against each other, and touch against touch. No pay to win its just Calladoody. Though you can certainly whale out for featured anime girls.
