I'm almost done with TR3 and I can easily say that despite my having issues with the first game and the later ones having smoother controls and cameras, the first has the best overall level design and the series seems to have peaked with the Monastery in 2, it's been all downhill since then.3 has been an unfun chore to play outside of a few parts here and there and have had to force myself to finish.Tomb Raider 1 was a good thing with unrefined aspects that they refined as the games went on but somehow the series managed to get worse none the less.
