The first one was the only good one, Tricky was too off rails at that point and it wasn't even interesting anymore.

Replayed them all recently. 1 had its upsides, but the gameplay was really stiff. While I preferred the maps in 1, Tricky had far better gameplay.

Yeah, 3 was great as well. Not gonna contest you on that. I loved them all, each in their own way.

>GAMECUBE
SSX is one of the few non exclusive games to be better on the PS2. Gamecube and Xbox versions had to cut tricks.

ssx is just like timesplitters 1 lol
>both ps2 launch titles
>both have sequels that are way more popular and multiplat
>both felt like a tech demo and had nearly all of their characters and levels reused in their immediate sequel
>>
>>746076474
Timesplitters 2 only had like 3 maps from Timesplitters 1 as unlockables.

I really liked 2 and 2 but thought 3 sucked. Really my problem is why I don't really play racing games at all anymore. I fucking hate open world maps in racing games. Give me tracks to memorize, shortcuts to learn, and unique feels and environments that I can then choose from instead of big map but now you're on this side so no shortcuts and every route feels the same

Any of you fags try that Tricky Madness game on Steam? There's also HYPERyuki coming up.
>>

>HYPERyuki
some of the tricks in that are straight up ssx tricks so i'm interested

Tricky was the definitive version of 1, and 3 was amazing. fuck off with your shit take.

More like asssex, lol

1 had a good balance without going off the edge of absurd track design and being superpowered (before maxing out your stats and boards, anyway). Tricky was just pants on head retarded. You probably never even played 1. Kill yourself LARPer.
