As a play around the house handheld player, the Playstation Poral is just a better experience than the Switch 2.

There are caveats, it's more expensive to get the Portal+PS5 but I think the cost is worth it. You have access to quite a lot of games that were never ported to Switch 1 or 2, a lot of substantial titles that the Switch consoles have missed out on.

The display is nicer, the fidelity of the visuals provided you have a stable connection are just higher than what the Switch 2 is capable of, the haptics are much better too. Cloud streaming if you haven't tried it out lately has come a long way and I'm surprised Sony is supposedly putting out what will be an overpriced handheld experience for the PS6 era rather than just continuing on with the Portal and maybe giving it an OLED version.

It's a good middleground solution between the Switch 2 and expensive handheld gaming PCs.
