I'm surprised this game is less popular than Isaac considering it's basically Ed's magnum opus and pretty much the perfect roguelite

I noticed this game's hype died off really fastmost likely because people got sick of the runs being too long and the breeding mechanics making pre-run set up tedious

>>746084585It's a good game, but there are too many friction points for long-term play. Nearly everyone is going to hit their breaking point before hitting 100% completion. Hell, only 3.6% of players have seen the current ending to the game. And that's not even getting into the harder difficulties (which is where I dipped).
