I've been really struggling too, every "new-ish" horror game I play does fuck all for me. Even Alien Isolation just bored me with the alien's behaviour.
Really I just always fall back to the Penumbra games (excluding the third).

I did try some more of Yames games recently, and while Water Womb World didn't do much for me I did like Growing My Grandpa as a short little dose of horror.
