for consoles, objectively it's PS1 > SNES > Saturn > PS2 > NES > GBA > GB > Megadrive/Genesis > NDS > GC > Xbawx > everything else
SNES has no games.
The SNES is great, though I wouldn't necessarily call it worse than the Genesis, especially if you include the Sega CD. I'd still say the PS1 is better than the SNES or Genesis.

Here's how I rank the consoles I own or have owned. This is not negotiable.

But NES games were largely designed for a more mature player that was willing to suffer and solve and play with an arcade mindset. It's doable though. You could get by just replaying DKC2, SMW, Tetris & Dr. Mario, and F-zero. I sometimes think I should have just stopped there. But here I am, paying for a quick dopamine hit and some novelty every couple of months.
