How is it possible that the Hoyo games and Wuwa get almost daily threads on this board, but Arknights Endfield, the best 3D Action Gacha Game on the market right now, gets nothing at all?
Hypergryph are ass at writing and both AK games have terrible narratives and even worse prose.AK is saved by having okay gameplay, Endfield is just the usual unfun action gacha slop

>>746092840To me at least the problem is writing, at least compared to gacha games that I actually enjoy.In the start of Star Rail, you're still trying to establish yourself in the huge universe, and when you come across some factions having problems, they might not be so open to hearing you out. After all, you're some random weirdo that showed up, and they're dealing with invasion.Meanwhile Endfield has characters fellating you right from the start. It is thanks to you, Player, that this city is here! Oh, you don't remember? Well, you are still super cool!As for other games, Trickcal is way more funny. Limbus has setting that I enjoy more. I do like that in Endfield the party follows you around the field, but I'm just not feeling it.

Characters can be limited, there's upgrade and gear farming, etc.>GenshinMassive open world to explore, tons of content, some actually cool quests, and main story can also be fun. But they don't archive events, which fucking sucks since those introduce characters, and are also relevant to story and setting.>Star RailTurn-based JRPG with weakness bar on enemies, and turn-count manipulation. Personally I do enjoy the story, but it gets really fucking wordy at points. Also, when you get actually good team, main story content loses all challenge.>Zenless Zone ZeroUrban action game. Imagine very toned down Devil May Cry. You have party of three characters, and they together are maybe equal one Dante with one style using one weapon, if we are being charitable.>TrickcalAutobattler with some of the worst gameplay I have seen, but the writing is genuinely funny.
