This is going to sound really casual but do games have to use every single button on the controller? L3, R3, holding down shoulder buttons changes the context of face buttons, it's so much to keep track of... @_@
>>746096952My dad used to make me sit on his lap when I played videogames and he'd put his hand down the back of my pants and hook his thumb into my asshole.
>>746096952More buttons, more mechanics. But it doesn't always equal to more fun.
>>746097163what's your name? kermit?
if i ever have children, i don't want them to play videogames or use the internet.
>>746096952Ha ha, casual.
>>746096952>do games have to use every single button on the controller? No, they should use all of them + button combinations too
>>746096952There's plenty of old games that don't make full use of the controller, hell even Super Mario World had two run buttons
>>746097718im going to raise my child to do family roblox streams/videos like tyler and snowi.
>>746096952Shmups use like 2 to 3 buttons(+ movement in 4 directions) and are still hard as balls. Many times the third button is just auto-fire

>>746096952Most modern gun&ball slop only really uses the shoulder buttons and one analog stick at a time because the dual analog control scheme is shit.>No you have to play the newest thing!!!Being enamored with constant progress that renders things from just a few years ago obsolete is a Gen X and millennial hyperfixation, everything from the 90s to now is playable. Trying to force your kids to enjoy the newest thing is more of an attempt to vicariously relive your childhood than forcing them to play retro games.
