CAUSE I'M A DAWNWALKER, YES, I AM
>time limit
>>746102653Everything has a time limit.I'll assume you're twenty, are you aware that if you live to 70, you only have about 18 thousand more days left alive?
>>746102653>>746102963Personally I don't like the time limit thing... if I decide to save my family I will need to ignore quests that I think are interesting in order to be strong enough to invade the castle and defeat Francis in a set time.Or just say "fuck you" to Cohen's family and focus on becoming way, WAY stronger than Francis as a vampire by doing every quest I find.
>just make detlaff againWhat did they mean by this?
>>746102309More like gaywalker
>>746104105>(((Cohen)))
>>746104968Oh it is "Coen"... my bad.
>>746102653this. Games need to follow the safe AAA formula because if you have mechanics that not everyone enjoys then it might upset anon, games should be made for everyone
>>746105163People who enjoy time constraints in an open world arpg represent a very niche demographic. High budget stuff can't afford to aim for a niche demographic. Not saying that devs shouldn't do what they feel like doing but at the end of the road there will be financial consequences. Exploring niche stuff is better left to indies.
>>746106469it would be niche if it was a real time limit, this game just limits the ammount of moves you can do before fighting the final boss. And it has a lot of potential if they manage to implement it well by making the world change.I have talked to 3 people about this game and they all said the time mechanic sounded interesting
>>746106890 (me)small correction because I worded it badly, by moves I mean things like quests. You can move around as much as you want
>>746106890So it's Romancing Saga 2?
>Abloo a game should have NO STAKES and NO FAIL STATE and NO URGENCY WHATSOEVER it has to be an amorphous blob like Skyrim where the funny encounter waits for me by the roadside for AN ENTIRE YEAR while I pick herbs
