Do you like Grand Theft Auto series? The early installments were too 2D for my tastes, but when 3 came out in 2001 I think they really came into their own, commercially and artistically. The whole game has the level of freedom players never seen before and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the game a big boost. It's been compared to Driver , but I think GTA has a far more bitter, cynical sense of humor.

In 2004 Rockstar released San Andreas, their most accomplished installment of the 3D verse. I think it's their undisputed masterpiece as far as characters and diverse enviroments go. Most people probably don't listen to WCTR but they should, because it's not just about the pleasures of conformity, and the importance of trends, it's also a personal statement about the game itself.

The only one I personally enjoyed was 4. 5 had great customization for cars and better multiplayer but story felt boring. Cyberpunk is way better
