Elden Ring is mediocre as fuck, but Bloodborne is just not very good. The base game has 2 good bosses, one of whom isn't even in the game proper, you need to do chalice dungeons for it. The DLC is a lot better, having 3 good bosses. (3 out of 5 is pretty par for the quality of DLCs however, and the areas are pretty underwhelming)The areas are mostly below average. Central Yarhnam is good, but everything else kinda sucks.The build variety sucks. Trick weapons are a neat concept that is realized very poorly, since I think maybe 3 weapons are good in both forms, and like half the weapons are pointless/just bad. The balance is awful, the best strategies all run contrary to "developer intent" suggesting they had no idea what they were doing. The setting has some high points, but is ultimately let down by too much being vague. That last part is easily the worst feeling part of Bloodborne though. I think the Hunter Axe, Threaded Cane, Saw Spear, and Bowblade are genuinely the only trick weapons where both sides can reasonably be used, beyond one or two extremely niche applications. The rest, if you're being transformed at all, it's to do the transformation attack, which is always followed by immediate switching back to the correct form of the weapon. And the Bowblade is pushing what using both parts of the weapon means anyways. Maybe some of the shittier weapons have two equally viable forms, because both of them suck ass so niether has an advantage.
