Only thing is that all of Valorant's characters need to convey that they are gunfighters/skirmishers. That's the core concept, and everything builds on top of that.Deadlock is an example of when the characters aren't that constrained to core concept.
>>746107613>tfw learning Valorant doesn't sell character skins and only sells profile and gun cosmeticsHonestly incredible restraint on their part considering League of Legends' whole existence as well as the general business model of like every live service shooter in existence these days.Then again with hero shooter mechanics you probably run into like the Overwatch/Marvel problem where your business model starts prioritizing designing and selling only for the most used characters or the characters people already spend the most money on.Call of Duty lucks out that the only real character association is faction-specific in premium multiplayer and that otherwise everybody plays exactly the same so it doesn't matter for shit like Warzone/Endgame/Zombies.
