>It's a ploy, Snake.
colonel... what's an actual game doing on the 'log?
>>746112562What a shit and terrible game, hopefully the game gets a 0/10 rating and kojimbo hangs himself so this game can finally go into the dumpster of failed and overrated games forever
>>746117135EWWWW why is there a BROWNIE in my thread GROSS
>>746112562LOOK OUT SNAKE! THERE'S A GACHA BEHIND YOU!
>>746117135Sorry to disappoint, but the game came out in 1998 and was hailed as a masterpiece.
>>746112562The truth is third worlders have taken over this board. They spam gacha threads and other garbage. Don't worry about bots or AI, they are not a big issue.
>>746116602????
>>746122590>Snake! You’ve just entered a Deltarune thread! You need to get out of there! The janitors consider any post there to be an act of aggression! If you’re spotted you risk being banned on sight.

Huey did nothing wrong>/d/ - wolf
>Snake, have you ever heard of a visual novel by the name “Tsukihime”? >It’s a love story between a young Japanese man and a vampire princess. >The art… leaves a lot to be desired today’s standards, but it’s a touchstone in storytelling in the medium of video games. >It’s far from the most well-known story-driven game out there, but it’s had quite the ripple effect on pop culture. >You see, there’s this toy brand that’s super popular nowadays, called Nendoroid. >It encompasses some of the largest brands on the planet like Super Mario Bros and SpongeBob SquarePants, the famous Hideo Kojima himself even has one. >But do you know what the first two figures in the Nendoroid line were, Snake? >They were of a bit character from Tsukihime by the name of Neco Arc. >It’s fascinating isn’t it?! That something so small like a bit character in a relatively niche video game, can have such a huge knock-on effect in the world?>It’s that kind of thing that makes me believe any single person in this world can bring about huge changes that they’re not even aware of in the moment.
>>746118332Masterpiece?
>>746112562>implying?
>>746112562Gamescom?
>>746134027Yes, Snake. Gamescom is a trade fair for video games held annually at the Koelnmesse in Cologne. The event is used by many video game developers to exhibit upcoming games and game-related hardware. The show presents the latest trailers and announcements from the international games industry and is currently hosted by Geoff Keighley.
I'm watching the GameGrumps current Let's Play of it Arin is total shit and it's pissing me off and so much of the dialogue is>That's because of (thing).>..(thing)?>Yes, (thing).>Huh.Over and over and over. Still an amazing game though, especially since it's on PS1. But the stupid heat and cool card key backtracking shit at the end is pure aids.
As I get older, the more I realize Snake and Big Boss are actually quite moe

>>746138428Gray Fox:>Snake! >You have to shoot the missile! I'm holding Metal Gear Rex for you do it!Snake:>points rocket launcher at Rex>No!>I can't do it!>I can't do it!That always annoyed the shit out of me. I get the urge to watch the clip of that and also the footsteps thing every few years.
>>746138834It shows Snake isn't a heartless monster though
>A Hind-D?
>Snake, have you ever played a game called "Clock Tower"?Uhh, nope. Can't say I have...>It's about this orphaned girl named Jennifer who is adopted with some other orphans by a family known as the Barrows. Anyway, the power goes out and Jennifer is left all alone to find her friends before the Scissorman gets them!Scissorman?>Don't laugh! He's actually pretty scary whenever he pops out to surprise you.But why is he called "Scissorman"?>Because he wields a giant pair of scissors, of course!Giant pair of...>Oh forget it, you aren't taking this seriously. No, I am. I was just thinking about how a pair of scissors is kinda like two knives connected together. I wonder if Scissorman knows CQC...>*sigh* *radio disconnect*

>>746112562She did a sexy dance and then died? She had a traumatic childhood? Hmmmm! Beauty and the Beast indeed, huh Otacon
>>746140838Consider the situation. Snake is not supposed to be, he is the ultimate soldier in canon. At this point in the fight we've only just destroyed the radar satellite on Rex. The fight is very much still in Liquid's favor. Snake now has one chance to attack the cockpit and end this now, while also sacrificing his friend. It should be obvious to even a 10 year old playing that game if you don't do it, you will still have a dead gray fox AND a fight with Rex to finish. Yes, I agree that the fight on top of Rex with hand to hand combat into a driving rail shooter sequence was kino. Yet if we're being realistic Snake should have taken out Rex+Liquid then and there so as to save himself the hassle of having to do all that shit later.
>>746142516Snake is soft under that exterior, that's a pivotal point of his character
Why are we still here?
>sage? Colonel, what's a wise man doing here?
