I'm alright playing on a harder or hardest difficulty as long as it doesn't become necessary to min/max or cheese it. Then it becomes an obsessive thing, not a game

I just don't really have the patience for trial and error bullshit I was never some master gamer and it's just not fun for me when a game is too challenging the small dopamine reward isn't worth the hassle. I'm probably slightly above average skill level for most genres so I play on normal with few exceptions. I'll probably have to play every action game on easy in 10-20 more years once my reaction time has gone to total shit like David Jaffe.
