So the newest Digimon game came to the switch 2 during a Nintendo Direct partner showcase And Nintendo's using other things to Market it shows that they don't really have a problem with Digimon what if the two companies try to capitalize on their IPs with a crossover game?

But types, evolution, and movelists are pretty different, so you'd have to either cram one into the other or just have two competing systems for everything. But I almost think it'd be a good thing to cram Pokémon's types into Digimon's type system, as the type chart for Pokémon is overloaded with stupid shit anyway.Evolution in Digimon is slightly more complex. It'd be like if Eevee could evolve into Jolteon, then devolve down two stages into Togepi, and then evolve into Pichu if it has enough Speed, but it might not be able to evolve into Pikachu if its Special Attack is too low, but you want to evolve into Marill to learn Surf anyway, and then devolve to Azurill before evolving into Pikablue to evolve to Draichu for Dark Thunder. Before devolving back into Jolteon or Jolteon (Silver), depending on if you want to evolve into Mega Jolteon, or Metal Jolteon.No limit on movelists, but there are signature moves for each mon.
