Detroit: Become Human was a delightful Steam sale surprise. Really cool levels here and there. Nice to have failures instead create new branches. The moment you have to revisit all the old evidence as Connor with the theme music playing was one of my fav highlights.
Yeah, it's the game where David Cage finally realized his vision of what a narrative game is.
>>746129218Yeah, but it's 10y old now and new game never ever.
>>746129218Replaying it fucking sucks, I can't even be bothered to fuck with the timeline shit given how ridiculously far apart the checkpoints are
>>746129218yeah, it's a fin interactive movie although there are some frustrating points like when you are trying to find the killer android in the android brothel
Only about 1/6 of the game is passable (the first half of the Connor route). Everything else is steaming shit.
>>746129853Pretty much.>somehow accidently do everything right on the first playthrough and get the best endingYou just dont feel like replaying then.
>>746130519I fucked up the police capturing Kara and the kid in that house near Canada, I was very curious to see how that goes when you get it right, but it fucking checkpoints you to the very beginning of the house which comes with a 20 minute speech by not Harriet Tubman
transhumanism propaganda. accept your replacement so long as they can imitate good behavior
>>746132451I prefer the Headcanon that cyberlife made the virus to advocate for robo rights so they now had a voting populace that would believe they were thinking freely when really theyre just serving cyberlifes needs
>>746129218Making the robots an allegory for slavery was retarded and the only great segment was with Connor and Hank. Everything else fell off massively
>>746129218>if you dont stop the girl from getting slapped you loose caraWas pretty odd to loose that charichter so early
>play as a woman robot >forced to do the dishes and clean the house
best way to play it is to let kara die asap so you can focus on the marcus and connor duality
>>746129218it's objectively the best Cage game but I still prefer Heavy Rain because it's so fucking goofy
>>746135192actually one of the highlights of the game. a realistic use case of humanoid robots. it starts falling apart a bit when robots start being humans with blue blood.
>>746135192>she died in that house for me so i bever saw where she goes if u leave
>>746129218I just couldn't take the androids being conscious seriously cause no effort was made to explain what consciousness is (in universe), how humans cracked it and how humans were able to replicate it.
