>>746134748They don't. In one of the books Master Chief prior to getting the armor accidentally killed an ODST in an exercise after said ODST got a bit too rough. The buddy of that guy (also an ODST) had a grudge against Spartans after that and that's where the meme comes from. In every Bungie Halo game the ODSTs never showed any sort of animosity towards Spartans, whether it be master Chief or the spartan IIIs.
