>people say GW2 has a cheaper business model

>try to get into GW2
>need to buy 4 fucking expansions to have access to not ALL the content, but just ~70% of it, because the rest is locked behind dozens of microtransactions that are sold separately
>the later will be defended unconditionally by the low IQ mongrels that play this game because if you have been playing it for 10 years you will have received these microtransactions for free as they released, nevermind the fact new players get fucked

As someone that really likes the game it really is convoluted as hell. They should just pack the Living World microtransaction story content with the relevant expansion.. include LW2 with the core game free trial, LW3 and 4 with the HoT+PoF pack, IBS with EoD. Honestly at this point they should really consider cutting more purchases than that even, bundling more things together or including up to PoF in the free core game.
Not as a defense of the game or company but there IS the Complete Elder Dragon Saga pack that includes ALL the Living World microtransaction episodic content, plus it's just the best deal even at only 40% off when they used to have it at 50%.
