Depends on what fun is to you, stages play like X games but you level up your character like a JRPG. After a while the game becomes trivialized so I dropped it

It IS cheap. You get some bite-sized facsimiles of MMX levels, but they're just short bursts that are more about chaining together combos by beating enemies as quick as possible. It feels closer to Gunvolt than Mega Man, but on a smaller scale.

The real fun in the game is in messing around with the dozens of characters and loadouts you can give them. Giving Roll a flamethrower and clowning on Storm Eagle is fun for a while, and worth the price of admission if you can get the game on sale, but it gets old.
