Games like runescape and XI, I put in the same bucket as games like maplestory in that they're all just grindslop for unemployed people.It makes these guys seethe so much that someone could start playing XIV today and have the best gear in a month and beat the hardest fights in the game off nothing but natural talent. It's the antithesis of what they want in an mmo. They'd much rather play a game where their 10000 hours of investment puts them ahead forever and they get to lord it over peasants for a smidgen of e-satisfaction.
