The amount of money they've invested paired with what their games are would make way more sense releasing as a standalone game with tweaked paid mechanics instead of keeping up the servers if it ever came to that. The Battle Cats has a standalone version for example as does Rockman X Dive, and Little Noah got converted from gacha title to a standalone Switch title.There's no reason to believe EoS for games of this level would be it just due to how they're structured. They're not MMOs, they're not autobattling card games, they're actual singleplayer open world games.
