Xenoblade 2 is like torture. I think every single mechanic in the game is designed to be a painful slog and waste your time.And after going through it on ng+ I think I understand why.You can beat the game in like 4 hours skipping all cutscenes. While I'm here can any saga enjoyers tell me what's so enticing about the series? I tried romancing saga minstril's song, but I just cant get into it. The fact your health is refilled after every battle takes away any sense of brinskmanship in dungeons which is what I really enjoy in jrpgs (getting a bit deeper into the dungeon as you get stronger, and knowing when to pull out to refill on resources). I also don't like the mob scaling - it feels loke the game punishes you for playing it. I'm not even a grinding kind of guy, but I usually like to explore the map and take any fights I can along the way, and there's always a voice in the back of my head saying not to do it because of scaling.
