I don't really care about new Nintendo releases anymore. I think Switch is going to be my last console. BlackRock made them to add jewish mental illness shit in their games (like non-binary tranny shit in Tomodachi Life and niggers in every game). I just want a better look at the future (like a year at least) for first-party releases, and for games to get more frequent information releases than merely right before release, because so far I'm not feeling super great about my Switch 2 purchase. The problem is that a lot of the library feels like (sorry for using a food metaphor but) "appetizer" games (e.g. spinoffs and B-tiers), and they've done a horrible job at showing the "main courses" to come. I like appetizers, but I don't just WANT appetizers, especially not ones that come at main course prices. plus I wasn't especially impressed with the Duskbloods network test; that alone has done a lot of damage to my confidence in owning a Switch 2I'm completely fucking over Nintendo's recent stingy close-to-their-chest news cycle model. At best, it reeks of them trying to see how close they can get to not promoting games before they notice it biting them in the ass. At worst, it reeks of "they actually have nothing big/desirable anytime soon because their dev resources have been just as fucked by recent releases' devtimes as they seem to have been". Ironically I feel like I'd be way happier right now if I missed out on the Switch 1, because the Switch 2 library mostly feels like extended low-priority twilight years for the Switch 1 era more than a new console's.
