I want to like Marvel Rivals, I really do. Maybe I'm just stupid or not able to fully commit or something but... I can't figure out what the fuck I should be doing specifically as certain characters In Overwatch, it always felt clear to me. If I picked, say, Reinhardt. I'm pushing in front with my shield, disrupting and trying to be the focus so damage dealers can do the most work. Or if I'm Reaper I'm trying to snake around and do the most damage. In Rivals, I pick IronMan and I fly around and essentially play it like I'd play Pharah in OW but I'm struggling. I'll swap off if we're getting destroyed but then I'm like...I'm having a hard time finding someone I mesh with whereas in Overwatch it felt pretty easy to understand everyone's role. In OW I was a D.Va, Moira, and Lucio main most of the time and I knew as D.Va I was a disrupter, as Moira I was a middle healer and as Lucio I was in and out. In Marvel Rivals, I feel like there's too many mismatches and I don't know if I just don't know what's going on?? Does this make sense? It just doesn't feel CLEAR in Rivals?? Who is good for a Moira like role? Who is good for capturing objectives? The game is clearly very popular so I just feel dumb.
