Sony wants to remind players they don't actually own the PlayStation games they purchased again.
>>
>transparency about an industry-wide standard practice
>sony is somehow bad
>>
>>746395415
Don't use the word purchase then
>>
Avengers
Eat the bugs!

>we're informing you that you will eat our watery feces if you want to play videogames
>see we're the good guys
>>
>>746400178
>being informed about company policies regarding your purchases == eating watery feces
>>
>>746395415
I remember a time when game companies would take the opportunity to dunk on the competition but xbox is basically saying the same thing sony is.
>>
>>746400260
>being informed that you no longer own your products after confirmed purchased product deletion examples and disc discontinuation =/= eating watery feces
>>
>>746400489
>being informed that you no longer own your products
you never owned them tho, nothing changes in the user agreement, they are just restating the same facts to remove any doubt (aka transparency)
>>
>>746395415
If they're dropping all pretense, why would I ever give them money again?
>>746398432
>Don't use the word purchase then
this 100%
>>
>>746400608
ok sorry sony, let me suck your pp.
where's the tip option when buying a game?
>>
>>746400608
>you never owned them tho

And that's a good thing!

Why was it ok when Valve said the same exact thing yet the board didn't make this much a stink about it
>>
>>746400357
Xbox just replaced half its entire workforce with Indians so they're at least waiting before playing the Orwellian card Sony decided to use, they have enough shit (lel) on their hands already.
>>
>>746401740
Valve has never deleted you purchases after companies delist their games, as it's not a legal requirement. Sony comically decided to make theirs public after proving they have zero qualms about arbitrarily doing exactly that.
>>
So why is Playstation going on a massive self destructive streak?
>>
>>746401740
No consoletard has ever actually read a TOS before. They are stupid and illiterate, so this comes as a surprise.
>>
>>746401740

Not an argument

What game did Sony remove from anyones library

uh huh
I have a problem with it with steam too, and if I said that in a thread about it you'd say "But what about Sony????" in an endless attempt to talk in circles and dismiss, dismiss, dismiss

>devs losing license soon
>big announcement that they are losing the license soon
>you can still use content you obtained after the license ends
its just that simple
meanwhile at sony
>you can still purchase movies right up to the day the license ends at which point they will remove it from your library with no warning
wow
>>
>>746402751
It really just shows you how little of a shit they give about customers, it doesn't even occur to them that it might be a problem
>>

lol out of touch autistic uncs. PC is mostly aging millennial base, day by day your numbers are dwindling as future generations play on phones. No one can afford a new PC so no one will join PC now and Valve sees this thats why they became a yacht company now cause personal build computers are done. The future is computers like MacBook, premade and you can't tinker with the parts. Valve saw this and made steam machine but that flopped
>>
If it was any company other than Snoy, the most braindead, shitting jeet fanbase, they'd go bankrupt within 6 months after the nonstop jewry they've pulled.
>>
>>746402558
Youre really complaining they removed shitty asset flipped shovelware games? You like that steam is flooded with trash games some of which is literal malware and have no quality control?
>>
Why use stores?
>Viruses and mallware and govt
So you're saying you only use stores because you will be punished if you don't? You use stores because you're a coward.
>>
>>746400608
>if purchasing isn't owning then piracy isn't stealing
>>
>>746402954
>Youre really complaining
and just like that
>>

>you never owned them tho, nothing changes in the user agreement, they are just restating the same facts to remove any doubt (aka transparency)
Where was the legalese for buying a digital code from a 3rd party seller that stated my account's contents were ephemeral and subject to removal against my will?
>>
>>746401740
>buy game on steam
>dev delists it
>still get access to the copy you bought
Sony already revoked access to movies purchased through their services due to not wanting to renew the licensing for them.
Mean while I can still download and play the legit copy of Battlefield 2 I got on steam for punching in my CD Key from the box copy I owned.
>>
>>746402272
They did not remove games, but they did remove many StudioCanal films.

500 cinematic experiences.
>first they came for the cinema, but I did not care

>>746402558
These at least were store-only and were legitimate shovelware and asset flips. For now though.
>>
Just gonna leave this here.
>>
>>746403593
at least order them neatly
