You guys play Yume Nikki Online? Decided to hop on some weeks ago after remembering it exists, I was playing the 2kki world for the first time and it was pretty cool, some maps have crazy pixel art and some pretty sweet music, but I don't wanna go to that place anymore cuz there's a lot of annoying undertale trannies, usually this wouldn't be an issue if the game didn't have so few people who are actually active, 200 players and a majority of those are just sitting there, it's super cringe. btw I ended up getting a german boy to get super horny and clingy over me while doing some stupid roleplay

Project Yume Nikki had a lot of inconsistencies in its time and Kadokawa was big enough to get away with stealing the IP if they wanted (with no pushback), which seems to be the case considering their current neglect of it after Dream Diary flopped. The Steam version of the original game is STILL not fixed to this day, for example, and there's barely any merch except for the stuff Fangamer negotiates with Project YN/Kadokawa. There's no real proof Kikiyama receives any compensation other than the word of Kadokawa.
