I mean, I thought GTA5 was a genuinely fun game. The story & dynamic between Franklin, Trevor and Michael was excellent and the world was a fun yet not too grating parody of contemporary USA pop culture. Good guns & cars, enough to the point where I actually did some side content as well.

But I would not for the life of me overspend hours in such a limited sandbox. Once the story finished I felt like I was just done with the game, it would be beneath me to just loiter around in the meager singleplayer world. And like, I played the game 5 or so years ago and already feel full on its gameplay loop. Add to the fact that it's most likely going to be horribly optimized and the trailer put 2 really boring main characters on the front stage, I'm not sure I'm going to even pirate the game.
