Bethesda thought the procedural generation was “worth” it just to simulate the feel of exploring celestial bodies with funky vistas and skies. That said, despite that, if you land at the exact same spot of a planet multiple times, you’ll get the same seeds every time, so even if they are procedurally generated, the seeds are all predetermined.
>Have one of the most obtuse map navigation systems to the point where crossing the system is a genuine pain>Planet exploration mostly just consists of flat, lifeless areas that amount to "Look at this plant 30 times" before moving onto the next planet only to do the same thing again>Inventory management is somehow worse than Fallout 4's >Quests are padded to hell as they're designed with maximizing the amount of time spent in loading screens>Only around ~100 points of interest meaning you'll see the same stuff very quickly>The dungeons have an even smaller pool to choose from even coming down to the same layout and same enemy placements>Story makes no sense>Characters make no sense>The entire point of the game is to finish it as fast as possible so you can fuck around with the not-dragon-shoutsGenuine waste of effort and talent that game is.
