>>746485163I played it back in the day when they just added the flag. I liked the art direction and only that kept me playing, but everything else pretty much sucks shit. They clearly didn't know where they were going with this one. You can tell by how much systems changed every couple of months. Now the entire game is almost unrecognizable to me gameplay-wise.Also the stagecoach "press W" gameplay is straight up mobile game bullshit filler added for no conscionable reason other than to pad an otherwise empty game. Art direction does a lot of heavy lifting for this game. Most of which is taken directly from DD1 as well as score lol. So there's no real reason to play this instead of 1 really.

I played it after a few years, with the knowledge that it wasn't going to be a dd1 sequel, and the game was enjoyable.My main legitimate complaint is that the runs are 3hours+ long. Way too long. I can do a quick hades or sts2 run on a bus journey. A dd2 run takes me an entire evening.
