>>746487783I liked it, specially the Surgeon's plot.I love the whole thing behind the surgeon's wife; is tragic and unsettling.From what I've been analyzing, in the part where the tragic story of the Misery Town Clowns is told, the first character we see is simply called "The Piano Girl."She suffers an accident to her hand and bleeds to death.She was almost certainly the surgeon's wife, and to avoid losing her, he revived her using the bodies of some of the clowns shown in the cinema.These are the ones we see in the four tanks of the mouse minigame.There, we see a distorted version of her as the Piano Girl telling Mellow about the four lives and the four batteries, and she says that if he helps her, she will "save everything."Then we meet the Surgeon, and shortly after, the secret room in the corridor where we meet Tip.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qz9bOxyvz18Here, we witness the horrific transformation and grotesque reconstruction this woman underwent, surely at her husband's request.The love they shared was so profound that not even death could separate them. >>746489072>(less unpleasant image as an example)And then there's Ending C, where the Surgeon, for the greater good, uses his wife to transform her into the dying god, and as she said before: "She will save everything."And as the Surgeon says, this also means saving the inhabitants trapped inside her body: Timesville in her swollen stomach (due tothe gases and body fluids), The Office in her lungs, Miserytown in her heart, and finally, everything living in Henry's house, which is her throat and head.When he completes the ritual, he joins his wife along with Mellow, as he says: "We are Remade" (the surgeon referring to himself and his wife), "We are Reborn" (the surgeon referring to himself, his wife, and Mellow, explaining how they have died and returned to life multiple times), and finally "We are Family" (they are all united as a family). Here, the surgeon and Mellow are literally absorbed into the body of the god, along with his wife, being reborn and taking control of the body as its new consciousness, and the Heart of this World/Prison beats again.

>>746498057This confused me too.My guess is that the wire contraption was used to either control her fingers to play for her, or to elongate her fingers to improve her ability. I'm not certain whether she mutilated herself intentionally in order to utilise the device, or by accident trying to remove or adjust it.I haven't played much further yet so I'm not sure if this is ever explained or touched on again.

I don't liked this game that much in terms of story honestly. It's have basically a souslike level of "not saying you shit". Even if you go for The Ending of this game in form of C ending, all you get is lame, Fear and Hunger(but with infinite questions) esque Q&A where you forced to tediously type stuff you want to know to a Surgeon guy, and then he in very cryptic, or alternatively very concise way, tell you about this.
