I expect Steins;??? will have a similar art style and will probably include at least one of the original members. That being said, the art is immaculate and the redone soundtrack is great, and I like the Live2D sprites better than whatever the fuck they were doing in Elite. It doesn't replace the original, but this has infinite more reason to exist than Elite ever did.
