Push the story and hard mode as far as you can since that levels up your devotion which increases your passive gold and resource income. Generally rolling a bunch on the standard banner is a bit of a noob trap since EVERYTHING is on it so the odds of getting exactly the character+weapon combo you want is low, you're usually better off spending gold on specific banner characters plus their weapon since rate up is 100% so you're guaranteed to get them and their weapon once you hit pity. The standard banner is more useful once your account is older and you have dozens of tickets stored up to roll it and round out your roster with what you're missing and plenty of EX tickets.

Team building in this game is also a lot better and more varied and isn't just about matching mono element teams, and (You) as Human God are a deployable and customizable unit who can be either damage, tank, support, or healer and at endgame there's a further Demigod system where you can mega buff some specific girls and have them deploy as demigods for no cost instead of human god being deployed for further team building potential.
