Also genuine question, why did the mods delete my other Bully post? I don't understand, what rules did I break? I mean I wasn't banned which is also confusing but the post was deleted and I never got a chance to read if there where any comments on it.I really wanted to know what people here think about this game. It's my top 5There's nothing else quite like itIt's low stakes comedy, but it's real comedy instead of stupid, wacky Reddit humor, and the approach to NPCs was always perfectit gave the game a lot more personality. Having a smaller number of very unique NPCs and groups worked wonders.I would've loved a sequel in the early 2010s inspired by movies like Superbad. But not anymore it's just not going to be good. The collective consciousness that allowed Bully and those comedies to be good doesn't exist anymoreit would suck.

It's not as unassailable as I used to think but it is still almost certainly Rockstars best game. The overall atmosphere and world of the best GTA games (and Red Dead too, sure) are so incredible that they make you forget that every single aspect of the game sucks to play.But Bully is actually fun. Bully feels good to play, except for some of the minigame style shit around the edges of it. Combat is fun and funny, mission design is good, characters are great. The level of polish they famously put into their games is best in Bully's small scope. In GTA and RDR they spend more money than anyone has ever heard of to do all of this attention to detail shit that doesn't really matter to the core game, but in Bully, that attention to detail is lavished on a world so small by comparison that everything matters. Picking locks and stealing chocolates and flowers, stuffing guys into trash cans, it's just such a cool game. If I'm not mistaken it is also the originator of the basic "say nice thing" vs "say mean thing" social system they used in RDR2 and GTA VI.
Endless summer is shit.The game should've changed seasons like every 4 weeks or so post story ending. Maybe add a prefect mode for people that played 128 in-game days that just unlocks a prefect costume for people to fuck around without care.Or just an option in the menu to toggle seasons.

Great game. Comfy map. The fairest and most fun 100% completion in any game Rockstar has made. The night having unique features made both feel special. The art teacher is every teenage fantasy and just thinking about her makes me want to rub one out.It's also underdeveloped and leaves you wanting more which is partly why there's such a huge cult fanbase 20 years later.
