oh nonononono nonono

Critics aren't human.
>>
>>746627417
Onimusha seems to have more consistent high scores with some "critics" giving Dawnwalker 6/10 or 7/10. Onimusha must be super solid considering the consistency of the scores. I'm sure the "timer system" and having only 30 days to save your family mechanic probably ruined it for some critics, but all in all it seems the majority really liked the game.

Maybe fucking read some reviews.
The timer is a gimmick and doesnt add much. The combat is pretty boring and most reviewers point out its pretty dated.

Its just witcher 3 again(which is good imho) but on a lower budget. Its a great first entry from a new studio but its nothing special in todays over saturated open world action rpg market
>>
meh, high 80's isn't enough for me to touch a game nowadays
*goes back to playing the same game for the 218th time*

Almost as good as Starfield, almost.

I don't remember any bugs from W3 launch except floating swords of dead enemies.

Why would anyone expect good gameplay from the hacks that made the Witcher 3? Dawnwalker’s story and visuals must be lacking since those were the only reasons normalfags gave the Witcher 3 such high scores to begin with. Without that it’s pretty much typical slav shovelware.

Womp womp.

Witcher 3 was made by CDPR bro what are you even on about

Oh yeah? Well...you're a faggot.

Imagine unironically basing a purchasing decision off of scores given by game journos.
>>
>>746627340
Those numbers have been useless for over two decades. A demo if available or piracy if not is the only possible way to make an informed purchase decision in 2026.
>>
Now let's see how many hours of gameplay each game offers.

ME SEE HIGH NUMBER; ME BUY GAME! BIG NUMBER GOOD! CLAP CLAP CLAP

I read Dawnwalker takes 50-70 hours to get through, which, if we compare it to a JRPG that's about the standard playtime. It probably is longer depending on how much side content and stuff there is to do. I don't know how long Onimusha is, but I'm assuming no more than 20 hours at best.
>>
>>746629984
I doubt that dawnwalker will have so much content.
Seems like a cinematic game where most of the time you watch cut scenes or read text.
>>
>>746630029
I don't know myself. I'm just going off what I read, but it is an RPG, so most people would expect it to be at least 40 hours minimum. The story must be incredibly long if they didn't add padding or filler to it. A lot of RPG's usually add a lot of side content/filler to massively extend the game by 20-30 hours.
>>
>>746629774
A lot of the devs behind Dawnwalker worked on Witcher 3. It’s the reason there’s hype for it at all.
>>
>>746630083
This game will be like outer wilds from what I understand, so in a playthrough you won't get the entirety of it.
Maybe what they mean is if you play the game ten times the duration will be that long.
But it depends if the variety is wide enough to compensate for this.
Nier automata was played three times while remaining enjoyable but few games can achieve this.
>>
>>746630252
Well, in another review/article I read. The developers stated you could experience 80% of the story in one playthrough, so it must be fairly long. There is replayability though considering you can see what happens by making different decisions, especially in major moments.

I think I sawed the trailer last year or something, looked kinda cool but I don't remember what it's about and have no intention of playing it any time soon.

Shan't be playing these slop

Slavjank is exactly what I pray for.

>The timer is a gimmick and doesnt add much

Oh, it's a Pikmin 1 all over again: a false sense of urgency, but fans claim it's amazing.
