No V sections, no retarded character swaps, the levels aren't lazy designed, facial animations aren't as ugly, the dialogue doesn't make me mute that shit, Virgil actually has personality and arc (ignore the DLC).
You only remember the good parts of DMC5 while blocking all the bad shit. DmC has less bad things compared to 5 so it's objectively better
