Capcom is moving away from numbered entries for their franchises because its off putting to newcomers, RE Requiem is technically RE9
I'm still annoyed that Megaman 9 and 10 are numbered series despite being downgrades visually (Not bad but it's whiplash going from 8 to 9). They should have started the alt titles then.
