You solve puzzles and guide your callers out of dangerous situations. Clearly made with a lot of love for the genre and the voice performances are very good. Not very scary until about the 2/3 point but loads of fun.>UFO 50The point and click homage to games like Shadowgate and Uninvited was lots of fun. Interesting storyline that you can piece together and tons of neat little bits of polish/attention to detail.

You get to explore many different interconnected worlds through the tapes. A lot of the environments were visually impressive for an indie game and the atmosphere was great. Puzzles and overall gameplay were mostly enjoyable with a couple of sections that deserve some reworking/optimization. It's a mix of combat, hide/chase sequences, and puzzle solving. A lot of love and creativity went into it and the devs included a lot of tasteful homages to various obscure indie horror films. Apparently its been updated to address some of the most common complaints after release.The Skin Stapler is a cheesy and ridiculous game about a pair of detectives trying to take down a notorious serial killer, but despite the over-the-top humor it somehow it still maintains a great spooky atmosphere throughout. Several standout performances with voice acting, solid dialogue and environment design with seemingly all custom assets. Cool tie-in reveal at the end as well if you're familiar wiuth Tainted Pact's previous games. The gameplay isn't anything revolutionary, it's a lot of the classic menial tasks from behind a store counter type stuff, but the story progression gives you the chance to play as several characters in different settings with unique interactions to keep things fresh and interesting. i watched the backrooms movie so i bought "backrooms rec" but now i see there is another game coming soon called "backrooms code yellow" that looks like the same game only better (they use procgen to make endless layouts, which is perfect for the setting). i havent played rec yet but i might refund it and wait for code yellow
