Switch 2 Pro now you can connect to PC via BT. Important for me because I do use the gyro and I don't care for the Dualsense 5. I'm not getting into any silly arguments. I have tried most other controllers, many are also very excellent. This is my favorite, it's just so well done. Especially the sticks.My #2 is my Xbox Elite Series 2 or whatever it's called. But even if it had gyro, Switch 2 Pro would still be my choice just because of how good the sticks feel.

>>746690650I have it. Don't get the bluetooth switch version. Its not really supported by steam and had to send it back. The other one steam supports everything natively. Buttons register as like L4 and R4 and paddleL and paddleR. Gyro supported. Extra buttons registering separately is nice because it means you can set buttons to be shift keys and different combos to do different things. In elden ring I have the face buttons act as a dpad if im holding R4 and run on a paddle. Its nice to be able to control the camera, run, and scroll through items while running from a boss.

It's some of the best tactile feel you can get without actual microswitches, and the recessed design of the singular cap makes it great for a lot of precise or motion inputs where you're moving across the center or around the rim of the d-pad. Arcades came with their own controllers and layouts because sometimes it's also Important that a controller limits your capabilities. It's what people get wrong about tank controls, too. You fighting the controls in high tension moments can lead to intended user error that can be a crucial part of the game. Missing a few shots in the heat of the moment can be an intended mechanic that elevates the game by introducing more tension. A room full of zombies isn't an oh shit moment if you can click their head in 2 seconds but might need you to reposition or even flee if you need 20 on controller.
