I played this game and I literally cannot even remember playing it.i went to play it one time and saw I had quite a few PSN trophies, like I have played it for 40+ hours and I genuinely cant remember anything but vaguely remember the tower, from D1 being destroyed.i mention this as it must be a complete shit game if I totally forgot about it.It was also probably during covid which was a bit of a blur to me.Anyway gameplay is like a shitty weak MMO. There is a semi open world where you pew pew pew, then strikes (dungeons) and trials (raids) which you do with others.The main gameplay is a constant loot grind, repeat the same shit over for better gear to do higher difficulty versions of the same shit you already done.Going on D1 gameplay, its the same in D2.At its core, it is a fun FPS, has a great style, but no substance.

Then you keep doing the same.It use to be every year they'd charge you full game price for 2 hour of story content, 1 new PVP map and a handful of new weapons/armor sets.
you join a pvp match and it aims your gun for you and the headbox is half the size of your screen and people who have never actually played a real competitive shooter are like "wow the gunplay is so good"

Your endgame is running a 3-4 variants of a three-person activity where you run through a level shooting shit, gather glowy shit on the ground, and deposit the glowy shit to a thing. Then you run dungeons, which is a three-person activity where you run through a level shooting shit, gather glowy shit on the ground, and deposit the glowy shit to a thing, and sometimes do puzzles, but this is actually fun. Then you Raids, which is a six-man activity where you need a math degree to figure out basic mechanics to unlock doors and barriers, and you run around in a circle shooting shit, gather glowy shit on the ground, and deposit the glowy shit to a thing so that the boss's immunity can be disabled for a short DPS phase, and then you repeat until you're at the final boss. This looks cool, is complete AIDS, and every run makes you want to kill yourself, your fireteam, Bungie, and everyone not playing the raid. But its also fun.Then you have Exotic missions, which are cool little timed mission that grant you a special weapon drop thats usually pretty cool. Basically puzzle missions with some fun and/or super AIDS mechanics while you you run through the super cool level shooting shit, and at a boss fight you gather glowy shit on the ground, and deposit the glowy shit to a thing so that the boss's immunity can be disabled for a short DPS phase.

The gear for Trials is always dope. So you rinse and repeat for the next weapons, with no end in sight.You do this for 3 months until the season ends. Then you do it all again with the new season except the season "campaign" is 30 minutes long, with a new 5 minutes every week for 7 weeks.Then a year passes and the new expansion is out and everything starts again.That is what you do in Destiny 2.

You really have to have a friend group/guildies to play with.How long a boss takes depends on how retarded your group is, and have much douchebag cunts are in your group. Can take 10 minutes to 10 hours.>Is "The Collection" worth 20€Hahaha. No. Don't bother. Until The Final Shape, I would have actually said give it a go on discount. But they completely fucked the game after TFS. They've made it a bit better in a final patch, but its like cleaning your legs after shitting your pants with a torrent of diarhea... but the diarrhea is still flowing a bit.The only people still playing are complete addicts who can't let go.

The raids in Destiny are honestly some of the worst designed ever.The raids are not about taking all the skills you've built playing the game and putting them to the test. Instead each raid introduces some new, often stupid mechanic that is never seen anywhere else in the game and you have to perfectly perform it with a team of 5 other people which means communication is often vital.

Have not played that shit in years cause beyond light killed my interest completely. Idk what people do now

>>746697968You shoot aliens and go through 7/10ths of the games main campaign that still is playable with all the story inbetween the campaigns being unavailable needing to be skipped or read a synopsis. The campaigns are alright as a co-op experience. You can do PVE grinding or PVP grinding if you enjoy that kinda loot autism
