I only got mine a couple weeks ago, practically a whole month after I built a better performing (but much bigger and louder) HTPC to fill in for the cube I lost the lottery for. I think most people in my position just wouldn't have bought it at that point.If they gave an ETA for how long you had to wait it would have been much more reasonable, instead it felt mildly insulting. The Steam Machine itself is great though, just took it travelling, which I couldn't do with my HTPC, and it's quiet enough you can game in the same room as someone trying to sleep.
